The Port of Flevokust is a multimodal inland port with an innovative industrial area. The quay of the container terminal has a length of 200 metres. The stacking area of the terminal is over 200m x 100m. The terminal thus has a capacity for handling up to about 100,000 TEU per year – and can still be expanded. The enlargement of the Kornwerderzand lock will also make this port even more accessible to sea-going vessels. Thus, Flevokust is an ideal and cost-effective port in the ARA region.
